Bernardo Atxaga’s short novels, Bi letter jaso nituen oso denbora gutxian and Sugeak txoriari begiratzen dionean have been published in English by the Center for Basque Studies of Reno, Nevada, under the title Two Basque Stories (Two Letters All at Once, When a Snake Stares at a Bird). Nere Lete translated the works from Basque into English.
