Ignacio Ferrando Perez won in the category of Spanish stories
Xabier Etxaniz Rojo’s stories, Hogeita hamaika egun Londresen (Thirty-One Days in London) has won the Gabriel Aresti competition. Additionally, the panel of judges awarded honorable mentions to Irati Goikoetxea (for Julia) and to Gonzalo Etxague (for John Ferreiraren kasua (The Case of John Ferreira). Fifty-five works were submitted in the category of Basque stories. In Spanish stories, Ignacio Ferrando Perez’s Mathilda y el hombre del tiempo (Mathilda and the Weatherman) was the winner.
