Koldo Izagirre has published his novel, Egarri egunak portualdean (Days of Thirst at the Port), with Susa. Days of thirst, indeed, were those of the summer of 1977: the rebelling youth want to quench their thirst for freedom, love, equality, beauty. The protagonist, who is taking his first steps in both social and emotional development, is thrust into battle by this thirst, seeking a new way of life between collectivism and individualism while facing his own powerlessness, weakness and dreams.
